For their first field trip, the student ambassadors visited Wah Tung China Arts Ltd on Hong Kong Island. General manager Mr Yiu Hoi Ki gave an introduction to various antique ceramics and their craftsmanship. After the field trip, the student ambassadors returned to the Hong Kong Palace Museum in the afternoon for the Ceramic Painting Workshop, where they learned about ceramic techniques and made their own colourful ceramics.
